Hello there. Honesty, I don't have too much to share, but I am in a blogging mood. So, as I sit here on my giant lovely couch, with holiday music playing (the only reason I like Comcast is for this channel that plays non-stop Christmas music), drinking hot chocolate and eating Cane Cane Joe Joe's (the best cookies every, pretty much), I am going to blog.
Last night I had an interesting experience. I was on a double date pretty much with an ex-boyfriend. Sure, it's been two-ish years, but still, so weird. We were all in play production together (his new girlfriend, Bryn, and I are still close and still in the class while the boys have both graduated) and it was really great to be with them. We had dinner that Denis and I made, went to Cupcake Royale (if you ever end up in Seattle, go there please) and came back to my place and watched Ratatouille because New York, I Love You only plays at weird hours in the middle of the week because it's two and a half hours long or something. I reaaaally want to see that film, though. It was fun. Double dates are a lot of fun, even though I was initially opposed to them so many months ago. We've only had good experiences.
What else, what else...Oh yeah! We finished blocking the play, sort of. It's a little rough right now but tech is on Wednesday, so we don't have much time. We'll probably have a few extra rehearsals from now to next Thursday when we open, but ahhh. It's exciting! Having a lead has been such a great experience for me. I feel so much like my character at times; it really is fantastic. I wish everyone in the cast was as into their roles as I was, but we'll see how that changes as we approach opening night.
Speaking of that weekend, Hank is coming here! I really hope that I'll be able to see him, because he's in Portland on Friday the 20th (coincidently the night of a performance and my one year anniversary with Denis), so I told him he should do something in Seattle during the afternoon of the 21st then come see my show that evening xD That would be pretty awesome.
I have no motivation right now. I just keep stopping and thinking and that is all I want to do all day. Imagine I am doing other things while I sit here and think about them. Oh, life. Speaking of things I want to do, roadtripping Route 66 (or what's left of it). Next summer. Who's with me? I seem to be the only one overly excited about this idea, which is a shame, but I have new odd travel ideas like this every month, so it could stem from that. I just need a big trip; an epic trip, if you will. Will all matters of transportation, please. Train, plane, car, boat, etc. Especially the first two, they are my favourites. I want to go to Portland...sigh. Need to stop thinking about traveling...
CHRISTMAS. It's everywhere. And it seems to bother just about everyone but me. I mean, yes, it's silly for Tully's to have Christmas trees in their windows and Starbucks to have broken out the red cups (which they received on October 13th, believe it or not!) but that just means good things to come, right? Christmas is a beautiful time of year. People are happy and there are pretty colours and lights and music and just... joy. In my mind, a bad Christmas is a total and complete oxy-moron and I want to personally fix Christmas for anyone who doesn't enjoy it. I can't wait to pull out my snowman cardigan and Christmas owl v-neck bought for me by the lovely Rita and just dance around my living room to this Christmas channel with the fire a-blazing. I've already started shopping online for people and can't wait to hit the stores and wrap presents! I LOVE wrapping presents! Christmas! Ah! Just spent half an hour shopping for people online.
So let me tie up this blog because Denis is coming by and needs his laptop for homework. I am going to listen to more music, read The History of Love and relaaax. Hope this is reaching you at a relaxing moment, too!
Forgot to mention I posted a ton of new photos on my flickr, so go check those out!

Fashion section:
I wasn't planning on adding one today, but you guys seemed really enthusiastic about it, so I'll throw in a little something. I have so many inspirations and next to none of them reside on a runway. Sure, I love me some Marc Jacobs, BCBG, Balenciaga and DKNY, but rarely do I refer to them as influences. I am a street style girl and adore sites like Lookbook, tumblr and various blogs for inspiration. My idol is a lovely French girl named Betty, whose blog I have been reading for a couple of months now. No idea how I stumbled upon her, but boy am I glad I did. She has introduced me to new sites, new styles and given me tons of new ideas for my own wardrobe. In addition, this girl's blog is awesome with all of the black and studs, which I am obsessed with as of late.
How's that for a first? What do you want me to talk about in this section? My influences, where I shop, outfit posts, what? Keep in mind, I suck at outfit posts, but I may be able to manage. We'll see :)
Book recommendation: The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray. I was thinking about that today and I adored that series. If you haven't read and you are a female, get on that :) even if you just want to read the first one, as far as I remember, it's a great solo read.
Dollhouse tracker: Ready for new episodes! Enver Gjokaj is an accent and acting GOD. Seriously. So impressed every episode. Oh and 2x04 was brilliant, by the way. Aaaand next on our television agenda is Battlestar Gallactica! Woo!
(Can I mention again that I love Emily? Because I feel like we have been particularly mentally connected lately and I am so, SO excited to see her in January. I am making a list of things we need to do together as I type!)

I've done the Old Route 66 road trip, but only between Oklahoma City and Kingman, AZ. It was pretty cool, I recommend it. There are some sections that are a bit desolate though.
I feel completely the same about Christmas! Honestly, I'm already SO into it (in fact, I have been since the end of summer), but it seems like everyone just rolls their eyes at Christmas commercials, or shuts off my Christmas music, or tells me I'm being obscene.
YULETIDE IS HERE, PEOPLE. EMBRACE IT.
I have been reading the blog of Betty for quite some time now, I love her style so much and she always always inspires me :)
and I have read The Gemma Doyle trilogy too, I read the books a long time ago and I remember I was quite excited when you mentioned the books on a fiveawesomegirls video once :)
I love this post! I started decorating my dorm room in mid October, wrote two blog posts about Christmas before November even started (I'm due for a new one, don't you think?), bought 4 Christmas movies, and almost bankrupted myself via iTunes. Kristen Chenoweth has a few really good songs on her album. I've been listening to a lot of Harry Connick Jr. as well, and (of course) Josh Groban.
45 Days until Christmas!!! Wahoo!!
: ) It's nice to know that someone else shares my enthusiasm for this holiday even if it is a bit early. We just can't help the fact that our Christmas spirit simply can't be contained in one month.
By the way, if you want some inexpensive, but good Christmas movies, Target is the place to go! Love Actually and Elf were both $7.50 and Home Alone was $10. I also just got the Muppet Christmas Carol at Barnes and Noble, because in my opinion, that is the best rendition of the Christmas Carol I have EVER seen!
The Gemma Doyle Trilogy is amazing. One of my faves, definitely.
=D
I am soooo on the same page as you when it comes to Christmas! It really is my favorite time of the year and I love it :D Too bad here in Holland we have another holiday before Christmas called 'Sinterklaas' (kinda like Santa who brings presents for kids) on December 5th, so until that time most people here are into Sinterklaas and afterwards we turn to Christmas...but I really would like to start the Christmas feeling earlier...like right now haha. Have fun decorating and enjoy the music :D
I just discovered your blog and I'm really glad because I love your tumblr posts and your style! Maybe you could mention your favorite clothing pieces for the season. It's getting colder, time for different color combinations, layers, accessories, etc. As much as I am a spring/summer girl, man, I've missed wearing scarves and winter caps. Do you go thrift store shopping? Ahhh, I love fashion too<3
Wow, how pretentious are you that you spell words the British way when you are so obviously a born-and-raised West Coast American? It doesn't make you look cool or intellectual, it just makes you look silly. Stop trying to be something you're not, because you'll never be British no matter how many letter u's you insert into words or z's you switch out for s. Get over yourself.

I've been to all the sites to help out with removing the program however they all request that I change the LAN settings. I do this but seconds later they get automatically changed back. Whenever I open a file the message: "Application cannot be executed... file is infected" Therefore I am unable to run any programs such as Task Manager in order to counter this virus. Can someone please help me out because it seems I am defenseless. Thankyou santoramaa
