- Anyone know of a relatively cheap, fun place to visit for about a week in South America? Is it nice in the spring? Just for future reference.
- YouTube needs to do another mass deletion of deleted or dead accounts like they did a couple of years ago.
- I really need to start planning what clothes to pack for school.
- I should bake something for my parents homecoming.
- The iPhone definitely needs to make its way to Verizon. Waaant.
- For those who have asked who my favourite beauty guru is, it's beautycrush. I have unsubscribed to just about everyone else because I don't need the temptation of all the stuff they show, but I love beautycrush's style. it's very much like my own.
- Tumblr is being a pest today. I just want to check my tags in peace!
- I almost wrote piece instead of peace.
- "You can love someone so much...But you can never love people as much as you can miss them." - JG.
- It's surreal to think that I don't have to make 5AG videos for the next month. It's become so second nature to me (which is part of the reason for the break, haha, too much habit and not enough fun).
- Have they created a quiet vacuum, yet? That'd be nice. Vacuums are so noisy.
- Gossip Girl is not holding my attention anymore and I can't bring myself to watch it as much. But I don't like not finishing things I've started, so I'll get on that eventually. I left off at season 2, episode 20.
- I just realised that I have a massive tub of cookie dough in my fridge. Mmmm, lunch.
- The most exciting part of uni, besides the new room, is studying abroad. I have been attempting to look into programs online for weeks, but my schools website is not giving me the information I need. I'll have to wait till I can speak with an adviser next month. Regardless, I'll probably study in London, because it's a good base for traveling all around other places in Europe and I know tons of people there. I don't know how long I'd like to study abroad, though. My school is on a quarter system and so I don't know how long the programs are, but I'm assuming one, two or three quarters (unless the school I'm abroad at doesn't have quarters and it has semesters instead...) Ahhh, I want adventures.
- That was less of a thought, more like a paragraph out of a normal blog post. Fail.
- I'm beginning to live my life just waiting for adventures. This can't be healthy.
- Due to the fact that there are a lot of places I plan to go next year, I tend to find myself on kayak.com a lot. Out of curiosity, I just looked at flight prices for Seattle to Orlando for LeakyCon and tickets are only $385! That is SO cheap for Florida. I almost just booked it out of impulse, but I can't book it till I know when VidCon will be because I'm assuming they'll be close enough to just go from one to the other. I hope all of my flights end up being so cheap xD
- Ribena sounds wonderful right now. Dammit.
- I've decided not to eat out anymore if I can help it so as to save as much money as possible. (If I write it down, it makes it more official.)
- I love Danielle. And her photos are amazing.
- Just edited a video for later this week and my stupid bird was making noises throughout it. Ugh. Annoying.
- About a month ago, Alex randomly emailed Sean Maher's manager (twice) for me (I don't know why he did this or what he said, to be honest) and I still have a secret desire that I'll get an email or something from him. LOL.
- Thank you to everyone who has been really supportive of the 5AG summer break! We've gotten nothing but positive responses and it's lovely that everyone understands the situation.
- Something really exiting happened for Kristina, but I can't tell you what it is. I'll leave it up to your imaginations.
- When I was on London, they advertised the lemon frappuccino at Starbucks everywhere and I thought to myself "oh, it'll be cheaper at home. I'll try it then." IT IS NOT HERE. And I am sad. It's sounds gooood.
- It's troubling that most of diet consists of poptarts and veggie sausage, which are two things which require a toaster and stove, respectively. Two appliances that I cannot have at uni. What am I going to eat?!

Just thinking
I've decided for today's BEDA, since I have no anecdotes for you, I'd just list out some thoughts. I'll leave this page open for a few hours and see what I decide to share. Sound good? Awesome :)

I want to get out of Florida! I have lived here all my life and the world elsewhere seems so much more exciting, including Seattle! (Which may not be? ha ha.) Though, truly, I can't complain too much, seeing as a I live so close to the various theme parks and the Kennedy Space Center.
Anyway, I wanted to say I adore your blog and YouTube channels! :)
I think it's something we give.
Seems like everyone is going to Florida since the Wizarding World opened. I'm so jealous. Sigh.
I'm glad you girls are taking a break! Videos shouldn't be made if they have become a source of stress instead of fun.
Plus, you really deserve it. :)
That sex appeal question is really interesting... I'm inclined to think that everyone has it, but that the majority have to learn how to use it, maybe by gaining confidence or learning to flirt. But then, I agree that some people get it ascribed to them based on their looks, especially celebrities, and thus, they don't have to try as hard as normal people.
I don't really know if any of that makes sense, but it's an interesting topic that I've never really thought about before :)
There are things that I think are provide inherent sex appeal. I think biological factor are definitely a significant part of overall sex appeal.
There are also things that are considered sexy in a society that aren't necessarily part of a biological appeal. Things like a tan or high heels add to sex appeal, but don't really mean anything to reproduction or child-rearing.
It think the sex appeal of any given person is a combination of both factors. Human Beings are animals with their own sexual instincts, but our brains are big enough to overcome those instincts or add to them with other things to find sexually appealing.
Hopefully your college has some good study abroad programs. Mine had one where you could spend a semester in a castle in Luxembourg, but also had programs that would take you through half a dozen countries over the course of a few weeks (spend some time in Hawaii, then Japan, then China, etc.). I didn't get to do either of them because it's kind of expensive, but they sounded like a lot of fun.
There's nothing wrong with living your life for adventure so long as you're actually in a position to partake in adventure. It's only unhealthy if you're waiting for something that'll never happen.
I keep wondering what it is about the iPhone that people love. Sure, it's a great device, but so are the Droid X, Incredible and Evo.
The comment above about getting out of Florida is interesting, as I just moved *to* Florida, having lived in the same city as a major amusement park my whole life, with the thought that it would be more interesting. I guess it's less where you live and more what you make of it.
Sex appeal: It's something we give people. Everyone has different tastes, and if it's something you're born with that sort of implies that everyone will like you. It's true that a lot of people are more well-liked than others, but that seems more based on society and the upbringing of everyone else.
lemon frappuccinos are so very good. though all the more excuses to visit london again...
Not sure about anywhere else, but don't go to Argentina, it's not cheap at all. Prices are similar to that in England.
I feel the same as you about Gossip Girl, I need to get back on that train.
I always tell myself I wont eat out anymore to save money but it never works :(
The lemon frap is sooo good on a hot day :)
You cant have a stove at uni? You mean a cooker? How would you cook things? :/
Ribena is always the thing I miss the most when I go out of the UK. Do you not have it at all??
You don't really, REALLY need a toaster for Pop Tarts...you can just eat them cold. Not as good, but still yummy. You probably don't want to eat the sausage without cooking it, though. ;)
HEY!!
Been watching your channel and the fiveawesomegirls ones for years now :)
Super excited for your "new" life! enjoy college!!!!!
Check out my blog!
kayley honestly you aren't missing out with the lemon frappicino, it taste like lemon sented shower gel :)
also i love this blog. it just feels so kayley :) and also its just interesting, its the sort of thing i could see myself doing too if i was doing BEDA.
I want that quiet vacuum too ):
and lol, I've lost a drive for Gossip Girl, although I'm around episode 16 through series 3 now,i slowed down from several a day to 1 a week around series 2 episode 20 :p i wont spoil it for you, but the third series is rather nice. and even Vanessa is growing on me a bit :o (I hated her across S1/S2 for that 'I'm perfect' trait, but EVERY plot about her included her 'stooping to blair's level', and tbh she was just not Dan morally through the whole series)
why are so many people watching GG atm though?
In regards to the toaster-at-uni dilemma, you absolutely can have them in your dorm room. You just... shouldn't. If rules at your school are anything like ours, RA's(or whoever inspects rooms for violations) cannot open drawers or closets without a valid suspicion that you're hiding something. Just keep the toaster/toaster oven stashed in your closet when it isn't in use, shut your door when you do use it, and you're good to go. I did this with a space heater my freshman year without a problem.
At a primal level, sex appeal is something people just have: curves on a woman suggest she can raise children well and a strong body on a man suggests he can care for and protect the family. But I think the more specific things have been developed and assigned by our culture over time. I was watching a show with a male friend of mine and the female lead was wearing uncharacteristically dark eye makeup in one scene. We couldn't figure out the reason her smoky eyes made her (in his words) "hotter," other than that just being what we've grown into thinking is attractive. I suppose 95% of sex appeal is, to some degree, relative.
