I've arrived!

This is a blog post I wrote for my blog on King of the Web. Continue to vote for me ten times a day if you think I should win & remember, if you vote consistently, they'll give you an extra ten votes after a few days :D If you haven't registered, it's supoer easy & they'll never send you spam! Registration is just to ensure there is no cheating. Now on with the post...

Wow! Guess I'm keeping up with my pattern here of updating whenever I hit increments of 15(000) & saying THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've got pretty intense competition & I'm really not a competitive spirit, so this whole process has been sort of hard for me, but you guys are just incredible. I'm so lucky to have such wonderfully awesome people voting for me.
A little update on my life, I've made it to London! Got in yesterday & I'm currently staying in a hotel with my parents & doing the touristy things (for the first time since I'm normally here staying with friends, haha) until moving into my new home on Saturday. It hasn't really set in that I'm here to live, not just a visit. For those of you who don't know, I'm studying abroad for a year before I hopefully transfer here for the rest of university, where I hope to either study film or journalism/new media (the latter is my first pick because courses sound brilliant, but the former is my second pick of uni!) If I win King of the Web, the money will be going to making that happen, as well as seeing the rest of Europe. Probably mostly just making sure I eat, though. London is freaking expensive. But I do honestly love it here so much. I cannot wait to settle in & everything. I'm also excited for classes for the first time in many, many years.
Alright, time for me to head off to bed. My parents have been keeping a ridiculously busy schedule since arriving, as they have only a week to see the city for the first time, which means I'll probably be woke up early. So one more time, thank you so much. I can't tell you what it means to me. While I'm getting a lot of messages saying that there's no way I can win against the guys in first & second, that's not really what it's all about. It's about seeing just how strong of a community I have behind me & knowing that there are people out there that I don't know who think that I deserve to win. That's what's so amazing about it all. Money's great, but nothing can top that knowledge. See you guys next time! xx

Days til London: -2 :)

I can't believe people are saying you can't do it! That's lame. You totally can! You have a ton of supporters :]

Ooh, I want to study some similar things to that too! I have to have chosen at least one course by tomorrow and I have no clue what to pick :/

I think it's awesome that you are studying abroad. I'm actually really jealous :P

Hope you'll settle in well :)

congrats on making it to London. I only got to spend a day there once (the day the failed terrorist attack made it so we now can't have liquid containers over a certain size in a carry-on...the newspaper that day read DOOM, just like that in all caps...but amazing day otherwise). Still, I miss it and would love to go back. So for all of us who can't be in the awesome that is Londontown, please experience it to the fullest in our place. Your community is supporting you!

Also, have a great time studying and try not to worry too much about the money. Things'll work out.

You're awesome Kayley!

Kayley!! You should do more self advertising! who cares if it's overwhelming? It's only for a month! Remember when wheezywaiter won the supernote challenge just from all the reminders he gave to people on that last week? You can do it!

Hey, I'm an American student who also is looking to transfer to a European school. Could you tell me about the transfer process and your experience with it?
