Blanketed

These are phone pictures that my parents took of my hometown this week. It sort of feels like Thanksgiving all over again what with me missing it there. I've spent nearly the last five days wishing I was snuggled up in front of my fire with my parents and dogs. London and independence and everything that comes with both of those things...I love them. I love my life. I just have to keep reminding myself of those things. In other news, if it isn't going to snow, I'd quite like to be somewhere sunny right about now. The rain isn't quite doing it for me.

The snow is so pretty! I wish I lived somewhere that snowed or even rained more often. Stuck in L.A. for now. =( However, it is my life's goal to move to Edinburgh!

I know exactly how you feel. I'm german, but I live near London at the moment. I was at home for christmas and it was lovely, but it wasn't really enough. Skyping with my mum just isn't enough either.. And I miss my dog loaaads, even though my hostfamily has a lovely dog as well. It's awesome here, and I love it, but it's just not home.
(hey, someone told me it might snow during the next two weeks. So hopefully you can enjoy at least a little bit of snow and don't have to be annoyed by the rain anymore! :) )
